I
used to meet Thaddeus very often on the Grottger Street but always
from a distance, never face to face. He gave an impression of
being an introvert, who is afraid to speak, as if he belonged
to some sort of a mysterious circle, where the entrance for ‘a
man in the street’ is forbidden.
Once upon a time, Tadeusz was an architect but now leads another
life. I often saw him carrying plastic bags, overfilled with newspapers,
cultural magazines, brochures and invitations to various events.
I never knew from where or from whom he got it all. “I deliver
these things to different places and sometimes I hand them out.”-
explained Thaddeus. He always turned up out of the sudden and
then suddenly disappeared. (…)
